Condolences

Condolence From: Dick Hughes
Condolence: Joe was my brother in every way but birth. I watched him grow up, mature, have a family, and become aged. Through it all, he was a devout Christian gentleman. He was my supervisor in the ministry. Joe was a “straight shooter” when debates were decisive. I have loved Joe as a brother since my early youth. I miss him. He left a wonderful loving family behind as he departed. May God bless them all during this time of grief. Dick

Condolence From: Marilyn Hakes
Condolence: Condolences to the family. Joe's legacy is so worth honoring. From such a painful childhood he became such a man of honor. I knew him for a lot of years but mostly from the time he was in the Council of 12. May God grant you peace and comfort through this time of transition.

Condolence From: David Ettinger
Condolence: I'm so very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Joe was my supervising Apostle in my assignments from 1995 - 1998, and what a blessing he was to me. Insightful, supportive, caring - and above all a supervisor who went hand-in-hand with me on our journey together as disciples of the Lord Jesus. I will really miss him - my prayers will be with the Serig family.

Condolence From: Kerstin Jeske
Condolence: I would like to extend my sincere sympathy! I was a youth in the former East Germany when Joe was our apostle. It was a very special time for the church and our country, just before the wall came down. I have fond memories of his visits and his ministry, as he was so supportive of us young people!

Blessings to the family! Sincerely,
Kerstin Jeske, Oslo, Norway

Condolence From: Judy Cleveland Loyd
Condolence: DEAR Ward and family, seeing our loss of Joe flooded me with so many long-ago memories. Our association over the years since those Mooseheart/Aurora days have been sweet reminders of commitment to the Lord. THANK you all for loving His people. May the Spirit cover you with peace and comfort.

Condolence From: Mary L Swick
Condolence: So many wonderful memories of Joe. I remember him as our pastor in San Jose. He was always so kind and ready with a smile. He had such an infectious laugh. I was so sad when he and his family moved from San Jose. In latter years, I enjoyed his ministry when I moved to Independence. He will be missed. What a blessing it was to know and experience his ministry and his humor.
